Storytelling has always been one of the most powerful ways we connect, with each other, with ideas, and with the world around us. From oral traditions passed down through generations to today’s digital essays and scroll-stopping listicles, I’ve always been drawn to how stories shape us, teach us, and inspire change.
Growing up, I couldn’t get enough of reading. My mom eventually stopped buying me books under 100 pages because I’d devour them in one sitting. It never mattered whether it was a novel, a blog, or a community newsletter - I’ve always been captivated by the chance to step into a new perspective or uncover a story I’ve never heard before.
After earning my BA in English with a minor in Creative Writing, I began searching for a path that felt just as creatively fulfilling. That’s when I stumbled upon Public Relations and Marketing. I returned to school with a new sense of purpose and went from being an average student to someone genuinely energized by everything from strategic communication to digital storytelling. I’d found where I belonged.
Since then, I’ve built experience across public relations, social media strategy, tourism marketing, content writing, and government communications. I love a new challenge, and I’m always excited to keep learning, evolving, and sharpening my craft.
If you’re looking for someone to help shape and share your story, I’d love to connect. Let’s start a conversation.
I asked a number of my close friends and co-workers what they first thought of when my name was mentioned. The most common response was “Something sweet — probably a donut.”
